Wakefield High School will offer the PSAT/NMSQT in-person on October 12, 2022 at 7:30 am. Unlike last year, we will no longer be restricting participants to students in the 11th grade. However, the PSAT/NMSQT contains problems with Algebra I and Geometry concepts. Therefore, students that have not successfully completed Math 1 should consider not registering.
Students who wish to test with accommodations must have information submitted to College Board by August 31, 2022. Please reach out to Amy Russell, [email protected], in efforts to submit the requested information.
The PSAT/NMSQT allows 11th grade students the opportunity to potentially qualify for a National Merit scholarship if they receive a very high score (generally the top 1%). For this reason, WCPSS is offering the test free of charge to those students with a weighted GPA of 4.367 or higher. The PSAT will be $18.00 and must be submitted prior to testing. Please complete the link for registration by September 10, 2022;
