PreAct
Taking Pre-ACT as a 10th grader is a great way to prepare for the ACT Test - and helps you get ready to succeed in college and beyond! The Pre-ACT includes four multiple-choice tests: English, Math, Reading, and Science. Your skills in these subjects will make a big difference in school and, eventually, in your career.
All sophomores will take the PreACT on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, as part of North Carolina’s college readiness initiative. There is no need to pre-register or sign up. All 10th grade students will take the PreACT for free. Sophomores should be present on campus by 7:20 am. If students have an ACT approved Graphing Calculator, they should bring it with them, though all math problems can be solved without a calculator. Makeups will be administered November 16, 2022 in media center at 7:30 am. Please email Amy Russell with questions ([email protected]). Click here for the PreAct At a Glance.
